         "Consent Agenda" means that all items listed below will automatically be approved with one
            roll call vote approving the Consent Agenda.  Any City Council member may ask to pull an
            item from the "Consent Agenda" for discussion and a seperate vote.  The purpose of a
           "Consent Agenda" is to expedite routine items and allow Council time to discuss more
           important matters
.

 MAYORS COMMENTS:
        1. With only one person coming foward to fill the vacant council seat and with the approval of council, Keith Youngers was appointed to fill the position until the end of the year.
       2. Bruce Meincke sent in a complaint regarding a situation that occurred 3 years ago which I did not address.  Mr. Meincke is now wondering why it has not been taken care of.  That is because it occurred 3 years ago.  We receive multiple complaints from this person and his rude behavior will not be tolerated at City Hall.

H.    NEW BUSINESS:
       1. Council to discuss/approve renewal of Closeby Text Marketing program
       2. Council to discuss/approve the Community Map
       3. Council to approve adding an auxiliary to the Princeton Fire Department


 I.     PLANNING AND ZONING ITEMS:
        1. Nothing at this time
      

J.     RESOLUTIONS:
       1. 2017-01, A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE FOLLOWING BANKS AS DEPOSITORIES FOR THE DEPOSIT OF PUBLIC FUNDS BELONGING TO THE CITY OF PRINCETON, IOWA, OR COMING INTO ITS POSSESSION, PURSUANT TO DULY EXECUTED DEPOSIT AGREEMENTS OR ANY OTHER AGREEMENT TO RECEIVE AND REPAY DEPOSITS OF PUBLIC FUNDS.


K.     ORDINANCES:
                      Statutory rule may be waived and ordinance passed without further readings

NOTICE:  Items to be presented to the Council must be in the hands of the City Clerk no later than
4:00pm on the Thursday before the week of Council meeting.  A packet containing the agenda and
documentation for each item listed on the agenda is then prepared on Friday and delivered to each Council member.  The next Council meeting is scheduled for March 9, 2017 at the Princeton City Hall at 6:00pm.  The deadline for items is March 2, 2017.
