Coffee and Conversation will be postponed for Tuesday, September 1 from 8-10 am because of rental at the Princeton Community Center.  The PCC Board likes to follow the guidelines for the city which gives paid rentals priority.  The next free Coffee and Conversation will be October 6 from 8-10 am.  Please call Princeton City Hall at 563-289-5315 to sign up as hosts.

Euchre will be held every fourth Wednesday at 11:30 a.m.  The event begins at 11:30 a.m. by ordering lunch from Go Fish (attendees pay for lunches). Euchre will be from 12:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.  For information contact Bonnie Sparks-Gray at 563-332-5951 or

 COMMUNITY INFORMATION:

Nomination papers for City Election are available at City Hall and must be filed with County Auditor no later than September 17th at 5:00 p.m.

 

 

 

 

The recycling area on the west side of Woomert Park is now open for Princeton residents only.  It will be open on Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. and from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m.. – noon.  Nothing longer than 3 feet in length will be accepted, and nothing other than yard waste.  No TV’s, washers, microwaves, or other such items will be accepted.  Anyone caught dumping outside the area or in other part of the community will be ticketed and fined.

 

Sidewalk and Recreational Trail Board is looking for new members.  If you are interested in serving on this committee, please call Katie at City Hall at 563-289-5915.

 

All City committee meetings are open to the public at 6:00 p.m. unless otherwise noted.

 

1st Monday – Plan and Zoning Committee with note that extra meetings may be called for special projects – City Hall

 

1st Monday – Park Board - 5:30 - Library

 

1st Tuesday – Sidewalk Committee  – Library

 

1st Tuesday 10:15 a.m. – Community Center Committee – Community Center

 

2nd Thursday – City Council – City Hall

 

3rd Wednesday – Economic Development Committee – 6:30 p.m. – City Hall

 

 

 

Recycle dates are: September 12th and 25th
