Caucuses will be held in Princeton this year instead of LeClaire.  Democrats will meet at 6:30 p.m. at Virgil Grissom and Republicans will meet at the Community Center at 7:00 p.m. on February 1.

 

 

 

Library Activities:  There will be a winter reading program February 1st through the 28th.

 

Make a Valentine card on February 13th at 10:00.

 

February 17th is Legos at 4:00

 

February 25th is color for stress relief at 9:00 a.m. 

 

Story time every Wednesday at 10:00 a.m.

 

 

 

There will be no Coffee and Conversation at the Community Center in February.

 

 

 

Baseball Sign-up for Wapsi Valley Town Ball will start:

 

Donahue fire station - February 6, 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.

 

Alan Shepard - February 10, 5:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m.

The new year offers the opportunity to volunteer for some of our committees.  Please consider joining:

 

Friends of the Community Center

 

Plan and Zoning Committee.

 

We need your participation.  Contact City Hall if you have any interest.

 

 

 

Please remember to park vehicles off the street during snowfalls.  Do not plow, or blow snow into the city streets when cleaning your driveways or sidewalks.  Snow should be removed from around the fire hydrants at least three feet if you have one near your property.

 

 

 

Pet registration begins on January 1, 2016All dogs within the city limits must have a license.  All dogs over six (6) months of age must be licensed.   Please do not include your dog license fee in with you utility payment. Please make out a separate check or cash for accounting purposes.

 

 

 

All City committee meetings are open to the public at 6:00 p.m. unless otherwise noted.

 

1st Monday – Plan and Zoning Committee with note that extra meetings may be called for special projects – City Hall

 

1st Monday – Park Board - 5:30 - Library

 

1st Tuesday – Sidewalk Committee  – 6:00  - Library

 

1st  Tuesday 6:00 – Community Center Committee – Community Center

 

2nd Thursday – City Council – City Hall

 

3rd Wednesday – Economic Development Committee – 6:30 p.m. – City Hall

 

 

 

Recycle dates are: January 12th and 26th.
