Pastor Matthew Froeschle has accepted a position as pastor in another community and will be leaving Princeton.  While here, he has been a driving force for the Princeton Players. He asked that we print this next announcement.  Becoming involved with theater requires no special talents.  There is always something for everyone to do, and without local support the Players will disappear. They have been a wonderful addition to the community and a great outlet and education for our youth.  As a community we thank Matthew for his enthusiasm and dedication.

“Princeton Players is looking for passionate and dedicated individuals interested in serving on our Board and keeping the performing arts alive in our town!  Did you love “Tom Sawyer”?  Do you enjoy seeing our local singers and musicians perform at the annual talent show?  Does the possibility of live theater and music excite you?  We need you to take a stand and get involved!  It’s incredibly rewarding, but more hands are needed to ensure our theater remains active.

The Princeton Players is particularly looking for individuals with skills in set design and construction, or with experience in any aspect of theater.  However, we are not limiting our search to those with experience.  Even if you’ve had no experience, we still need your help in visioning and the practical aspects of planning and hosting performances. If you would like to get involved, please attend our next gathering on Monday, November 3rd at 6:30 PM at the Zion Lutheran Church in Princeton, Iowa.  Thank you so much!”
