The Princeton Community Center is available for graduation and birthday parties; wedding receptions; large or small meetings; funeral receptions; and other events. The kitchen is available and free to the user. Alcohol may be served (not sold unless state permit is obtained). Use this facility for your event. To reserve, please call City Hall at 563-289-5315.
Main Street community meeting will be
held April 2, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Community Center. Those interested may sign up, or volunteer to help with the implementation of the plan to improve Princeton. The amount of time spent by each individual will be up to them. Some of the areas to be addressed are listed below.

Coffee and Conversation at the Princeton Community Center April 5, 2016 from 8:00 to 10:00 A.M. will feature a food drive for the Princeton food bank.
Everyone is invited to come and bring a friend and neighbor plus non perishable food items for the food bank at the Princeton Presbyterian Church.
This event is hosted by Thrivent Financial, which will provide treats and good fellowship.

Princeton Summer Fest Taco Dinner & Euchre Tournament on Friday, April 22nd at the Community Center. Dinner from 4:00-6:30, euchre sign up at 6:30, tourney at 7:00. Buy tickets at City Hall or at the door. $5.00 for 3 tacos. Euchre is $10.00/person.
The City started a free text club. Text nn605 to 36000 to join. This is city-sponsored to help keep citizens aware of street closures, storms, or other pertinent information which might affect citizens.
3rd Annual Garden Walk will be held July 9th, 2016. To sign up to show off your beautiful flower gardens, please call Val Rasche at 563-343-1385 ASAP. We can only have a limited number. The Garden Walk will take place rain or shine.
Free Blood Pressure checks will be offered by Princeton Fire Department every Sunday from 10 am until noon starting March 6th. No appointment is necessary.

Pet registration deadline is April 1. A $10 fine will be applied for any late registrations. All dogs within the city limits and over six (6) months of age must have a license. Please do not include your dog license fee in with your utility payment. Please make out a separate check or cash for accounting purposes.
